Corporation is a NASDAQ-listed, US-incorporated outsourcing company with the
majority of its operations in India and most of its 30,000 employees based in
Bangalore. IGATE is an American multinational corporation which provides
information technology, consulting and business process outsourcing (BPO).The
recruiting process of iGATE is as follows:
Pre-placement talk: Prior to recruitment process we have a
pre-placement talk about company’s norms. Be vigilant throughout the talk which
saves a lot of time. You can expect questions about their company in your
technical & HR interviews.
Round-1: Offline Test IGATE recruitment
starts with offline test. You have to complete 50 questions in 50 minutes. The
test was too easy to crack, but take care of your available time. Students who
are attending this company should mainly concentrate on the syllogisms, analogy
part in reasoning, coding and decoding, articles ,prepositions ,correction of
the sentences, jumbled sentences ,analogy ,synonyms and antonyms (basic words
of English).In aptitude mainly concentrate on time and work ,profits and losses
,ages ,ratios ,interests and simple statistics. Time management is the only
thing you need to have in order to clear the first round.
Round-2: Technical Interview The qualified students from 1st round are eligible
for technical interview. Mention your specific subjects/interesting subjects in
your resume. Make sure that you are perfect in your mentioned subjects. The
interviewer will ask you about your areas of interest (core subjects). If so
tell one subject in that you are basically strong. So the important thing is
you need to remember all the basics of programming languages like C, C++ and
importance of those languages with applications. Mainly concentrate on functions,
pointers, arrays in C and OOPS concept in C++.Interviewer will ask you to write
a simple program in C or C++ to test your programming and logical skills.
Round-3: HR Interview This is the final round of recruitment process. In
this round HR mainly concentrates on your resume you need to assess yourself
about what you mentioned in your resume. You must be in the position to justify
your content of resume. He / She may ask simple questions like tell me about
your family, your strengths and weaknesses, why iGATE?
